Being a fan of the clothing industry for years, I’ve watched many companies fade away, get bought out over time or simply lose touch with the people made them pop in the first place.
So it was for this reason that, when I started LARGE Clothing Company, I set out do things a bit differently than most “streetwear brands”.
Question is, how do you accomplish these things, in a market SO saturated with oversaturated trash?
Well, here’s my answer:
- Simplicity is key. When I started LARGE Clothing back in 2016, I did so with a mission to make sure that we just weren’t another graphic-tee-pushing “clothing brand”. But I also wanted to bridge the gap between casual and street, and thus, LARGE Clothing Company was born.
- Free international shipping on everything. You heard that. Not only do we offer free shipping on all products, everything in our shop section also ships internationally in 3-5 business days. This includes any country you could possibly think of! Well…minus Crimea, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Syria and North Korea. Sorry guys!
- Living and realizing great exceptionalism. We stand for something here at LARGE. That “something” is how I actually feel about life overall. I have a duty to wake up everyday and realize the great exceptionalism that is within. So with that being said, I find it imperative to exude that same level of confidence each and every day, in my actions, the way I treat others. LARGE pieces help radiate that energy even more! Which leads into my next point…
- #WhatMakesYouLARGE. That’s our motto. This is what makes you, you. Here at LARGE Clothing, we want to highlight your passions, because that’s what makes you LARGE. It is for that reason that we created the #WhatMakesYouLARGE hashtag. We encourage our customers to use this hashtag when participating in their favorite hobbies while wearing LARGE gear! We try to feature submissions on our Instagram page when possible.
- We offer Bitcoin and other forms of cryptocurrency as payment options. This was a personal decision as well. In 2017 I became a big fan of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole, so I began looking into it further. Well, I quickly came to the conclusion that crypto is here to stay, so with that being said, it’s better to adapt to change, rather than be left behind. With that came the decision to accept cryptocurrency payments via Coinbase Commerce. We currently accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and Ethereum Classic. Support for even more coins & tokens coming soon!
- All of our shirts have LARGE-branded inside labeling. I was hype about this one. When I first started LARGE Clothing, I was heat-pressing every shirt single-handedly, I honestly didn’t have the means or labor to do that back then. But now, things are different. All of our signature t-shirts are now constructed from 100% combed ring-spun cotton, and include tagless LARGE-branded inside labels.
- I gave Chance the Rapper one of the very first LARGE tees. This happened back in the fall of 2016, thanks to my girlfriend’s uncle (He was the greatest, R.I.P) who worked security for Chance at the time. This happened literally right after the launch of my brand, so I’m low-key kinda tight I never got to give him one of the updated shirts, haha. Looking back I know that shirt was nothing compared to what he wears. I’m sure we’ll cross paths again one day.
